Zoroaster
Zarathushtra, also referred to as Zartosht is said to have lived around the
sixth century BCE, though this date is far from settled.
Zoroasters birthplace
is also been questioned over the years. Traditionally he was said to be born in
the city Ditya River in Airyanem Vaejah (Middle Persian Eran Wej) though this
is still being debated by many experts.
Zoroaster is said to have written
the hymns in the Gathas, they have being reconized as the core of Zoroastrianism
and the most sacred texts.
