Don Miguel Ruiz, the spiritual author was born in 1952, he was born in Mexico.
His mother who was a curandera (healer), and his grandfather who was a nagual
(shaman) had passed on their knowledge and wisdom to Don Miguel, these ancient
Toltec teachings is where Don Miguel Ruiz draws his inspiration from.
