Hand
of an Angel Poem by Mimi Robins The soft hand of an angel And fly towards the face of God Through the depths of my soul. That is my dream. Now my soul lies weak, Shivering in its infancy, Without vision or understanding In a night of dark silence. My breathing holds promise. My open heart aches, seeking beauty. I feel hope. From somewhere an intangible love Envelops me, Shielding me from the winter. I have tasted the nectar of the damned. I cry
out for more.
